Who What and Why

Name
Willem Wynand Van Aswegen "MotionMagic"

Goal
Becoming an expert in the field of digital animation and entertainment and to one day own my own business.

My story
I’ve always enjoyed drawing and loved watching cartoons; it wasn’t until I first started playing around with a .gif animation program that my interest in creating movement grew. I then discovered flash version 2. At the age of 13 I was a regular visitor to Newgrounds.com and soon after a contributor. As my animation skills slowly grew I took to studying animation, and I’m prepared to work very hard to make it my occupation.
In 2006 I planned out my future and saw the diploma of multimedia as a good choice, to lower my op and get some basic working with video, websites and working as a team. I completed the course in June 2008 and since have set my sights for the 2009 intake of bachelor of animation at Griffith university.
